The
Society is dedicated to researching,
documenting and commemorating the
heritage and history of Leon Valley and
surrounding areas.
Currently
we are investigating and restoring the
Huebner Onion Homestead, a two story
structure along Bandera road that dates
to the 1850s. We are also developing
trails in the Leon Valley Huebner Onion
Natural Area adjacent to the Homestead
to provide access to Mr. Huebner’s grave
and an outdoor educational experience.
Monthly meetings are held at the Leon
Valley Library. You will receive notice
of our next meeting.
